Fon Fineco Base FI is a short-term euro fixed-income fund aimed at preserving capital and earning returns in line with current money market rates. It invests primarily in high-quality, liquid money market instruments and deposits from both public and private issuers within the eurozone and other OECD countries. The portfolio consists of assets with maturities up to two years, maintaining an average duration of six months and an average maturity of twelve months. Additionally, the fund places significant emphasis on highly rated securities, including a substantial allocation to sovereign debt rated at least BBB-, particularly focusing on Spanish government bonds.
