FTGF Putnam US Large Cap Value Fund (the “Fund”) investment objective is to seek long-term investment growth, mainly through growth of capital while seeking current income. Investment Policy The Fund mainly invests in equities of US companies of large market capitalisation. The Fund focuses on value stocks (i.e. companies whose share prices are undervalued according to the investment manager). To a lesser extent, the Fund may invest in mid capitalisation companies and equity markets outside of the US. Derivatives and techniques The Fund may use derivatives for reducing risks (hedging) and costs, and to generate additional income or growth (in accordance with the risk profile of the Fund). Strategy The investment manager uses Fundamental analysis and quantitative tools to select companies that appear to have good financial strength and sustainable growth prospects.
