The objective is to achieve long-term asset growth. The compartment is actively managed. The main objective of the sub-fund is long-term capital growth. The sub-fund is an actively managed portfolio consisting to a significant extent of direct or indirect investments in precious metals such as gold, silver‚ platinum‚ palladium or corporate investments that are engaged in the mining or processing of precious metals. In order to take advantage of return opportunities‚ the sub-fund may also invest directly or indirectly in other types of metals or companies engaged in the mining or processing of other types of metals. Investment decisions are based on fundamental and/or technical analysis. For the purpose of yield optimization and hedging‚ derivative financial instruments such as futures‚ options or FX forwards can be used. The sub-fund aims to offer investors - through an active investment approach - a beneficial alternative to a passive allocation to precious metals. Under difficult market conditions‚ the sub-fund may hold a larger proportion of liquid assets in the short term. The compartment may use derivatives to increase or reduce the effects of market fluctuations on fund assets. Units may be subscribed for and redeemed weekly under the conditions set out in the fund documents. Net income and realised capital gains are reinvested
