GCO Ahorro FI is a euro-based fixed income fund that invests entirely in high-quality bonds and deposits issued by both public and private entities. The portfolio mainly consists of securities from eurozone countries and other developed OECD nations, excluding emerging markets. All investments have investment-grade ratings, and the average duration of the holdings is under two years. Additionally, over 35% of the fund's assets are allocated to bonds issued or guaranteed by European Union states, Spanish regional and local governments, and international organizations with credit ratings comparable to or better than Spain’s.
