Generali MPS Euro Short-Term High Yield aims to generate positive returns and preserve capital by primarily investing in Euro-denominated non-Investment Grade corporate bonds with maturities of up to five years. The portfolio may also include investment and non-investment grade bonds in other hard currencies, such as those from emerging markets, as well as debt-related securities like debentures and convertible bonds. Additionally, the fund can hold cash, bank deposits, money market instruments, and use financial derivatives to achieve its investment objectives. The fund avoids asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities and limits exposure to distressed or defaulted securities.
