General Objective
The fund aims to provide long-term capital growth and income by investing in a portfolio of inflation-linked bonds, while promoting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) characteristics within the meaning of Article 8 of SFDR. The fund aims to have a higher ESG score than its reference benchmark.
Fund Exposure
The fund is actively managed and will normally invest at least 70% of its assets in bonds linked to inflation. It invests in bonds issued by companies, governments, or government-related entities of developed and emerging markets. The fund may also invest up to 15% of its assets in emerging markets and includes the analysis of a company's ESG credentials in its investment decision-making process.
Risks
Investing in this fund carries risks, including the potential for the value of investments to fall as well as rise, the risk associated with bonds falling in value when interest rates rise, and the risk of investing in emerging markets which are less established and more volatile than developed markets. Additionally, there is a risk of default by bond issuers, which could result in the bonds becoming hard to sell or worthless.
