General Objective
The Fund aims to provide growth and income in the long term, which is a period of five years or more. It will invest at least 80% of its value in the shares of UK companies, including preference shares, and may also invest in other assets such as shares of non-UK companies and cash.
Fund Exposure
The Fund is actively managed with reference to the FTSE All-Share Index. It typically invests in the shares of 40 to 70 UK companies and may also invest in other funds managed by the HSBC Group. The level of risk taken by the Fund is considered relative to the FTSE All-Share Index to ensure returns are more likely to be closer to the index's returns.
