The aim of the Fund is to provide capital growth over the long term (at least five years) through active management of investments in UK smaller companies.

At least 80% of the Fund will be invested in the shares of UK smaller companies with a market capitalization of less than £2bn at the time of initial purchase. The Fund may also invest up to 20% in other assets, including larger UK companies, overseas companies (developed markets only), bonds, and money market instruments.

Investors should be aware that the Fund may have less exposure to smaller companies compared to the average fund in the sector, which could cause performance to diverge from the sector average. Additionally, the Fund does not invest in derivatives and income is accumulated into the value of the investment, rather than distributed.
