Insight Liquid ABS Fund B USD Income

The fund aims to produce a return by mainly investing in a portfolio of asset-backed securities (ABS) and corporate floating rate notes (FRNs) that are considered high quality by the Investment Manager. The benchmark for the fund is 1 month SONIA.

The fund is mainly exposed to ABS, which are bonds backed by a pool of underlying assets such as residential mortgage-backed securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities, and collateralised loan obligations. Additionally, the fund may invest in corporate FRNs issued by financial institutions and other companies. The average rating of the bonds held by the fund is expected to be AA or equivalent by a recognised credit agency.

Investors should be aware that this fund may not be suitable for those planning to withdraw their money within five years. The fund is actively managed, and the success of the strategies employed by the Investment Manager will depend on the accuracy of their views. Additionally, the fund may be exposed to risks associated with nonsterling currency due to the use of derivatives in the portfolio.
