Santander Balanced International Tracking is a fund focused on long-term growth and income by investing globally in a diverse mix of assets. The portfolio includes approximately 37.5% in UK equities (FTSE All Share), 22.8% in US stocks (FTSE USA), 15% in UK corporate bonds, 10% in UK government gilts, 8.6% in European ex-UK equities, and 6.1% in Japanese stocks. By using index-tracking investment schemes managed by other firms, the fund ensures that at least 70% of its investments are in these bonds and shares, while also having the flexibility to include other assets like real estate and commodities to enhance performance and manage risk.
