Invesco Corporate Bond Fund (UK) invests mainly in investment grade corporate bonds and senior bank debt, seeking income and capital growth over the medium to long term. It must place at least 80% of its assets in investment grade corporate debt securities, but it also has flexibility to hold subordinated bonds, non-investment grade corporate debt, government and unrated securities, money-market instruments, collective investment schemes, deposits and cash. The fund also takes some exposure to US dollar-denominated corporates, with most of that currency exposure hedged back to sterling. Invesco actively manages credit and interest rate risk, using macroeconomic views and detailed company research when building the portfolio.
