General Objective
The objective of the Fund is to achieve income and capital growth over the medium to long term (3 to 5 years plus) and to support the transition to a low carbon economy.
Fund Exposure
The Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in debt securities denominated in or hedged back into sterling issued by companies, governments, and other public entities globally, which meet the Fund’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) screening criteria. The Fund strategically invests in investment opportunities across the fixed interest credit risk spectrum, with a focus on negative ESG screening and positive climate screening.
Risks
The Fund may use derivatives for investment purposes, which may not be fully aligned with the Fund’s ESG criteria. Additionally, the Fund's active investment approach based on fund manager judgment and lack of benchmark constraints may introduce additional risks for investors.
