The Fund aims to provide capital growth over the long term (5 years or more) and to outperform the MSCI World Health Care Index by 2% per annum, before charges, over any 5 year period.

The Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in a portfolio of shares of companies with a "Life Sciences" orientation, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare services, and medical technology. It may also invest in companies of any size, in any country, as well as in Collective Investment Schemes, unlisted equities, money market instruments, and cash.

Investors should be aware that this Fund may not be suitable for those planning to withdraw their money within 5 years. It is recommended to use this Fund as one component of a diversified investment portfolio, considering the proportion of the portfolio invested in this Fund.
