General Objective
The Fund aims to provide an income with the potential for capital growth over the long term. It targets to outperform the ICE BofA Global High Yield Constrained Index (100% Hedged) by 1.75% per annum over any 5 year period.
Fund Exposure
The Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in high yield corporate bonds rated BB+ or lower, in any country. It may also invest up to 20% in contingent convertible bonds (CoCos), asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities, as well as other types of bonds, cash, and money market instruments. The investment manager may use derivatives to manage the Fund more efficiently.
Risks
The Fund is exposed to risks such as credit risk, interest rate risk, high yield bond risk, prepayment and extension risk, and contingent convertible bond risk. Additionally, the Fund may use derivatives which can result in leverage and introduce counterparty risk. Changes in exchange rates can also impact the value of the Fund.
