The L&G Global Equity Index Fund aims to replicate the FTSE World Index by investing mainly in large and mid-sized companies from all around the world. It holds at least 90% of its assets in the same stocks as the index, either directly or through certificates that represent shares in foreign companies. Additionally, the fund may include companies that are likely to be added to the index soon or serve as alternatives to current index members. To maintain its strategy, the fund can also invest in short-term financial instruments, cash, and use derivative contracts to help manage risks and costs.
