The MGTS Aequitas Defensive Fund is designed to grow capital and potentially generate income over a three-year period by maintaining a balanced and cautious investment portfolio. The fund allocates more than half of its assets to a diverse variety of bonds, including government, corporate, sub-investment grade, and inflation-linked bonds. Up to 35% of the portfolio is invested in stocks to take advantage of market growth, while typically keeping cash holdings below 20% to stay flexible during different market conditions. Additionally, the fund may include alternative investments like property or commodities to help manage overall risk and enhance stability.
