The SIIION Balanced Fund aims to grow capital and generate income over a five-year period by investing in a diverse mix of assets globally. The portfolio is primarily composed of 50% to 70% shares, providing broad equity exposure. Up to 20% is allocated to alternative investments like property and commodities to enhance the fund’s risk-reward profile. The remaining portion is invested in various bonds, including government and corporate types, as well as cash, typically keeping cash holdings below 10%. Additionally, at least 70% of the fund is managed through collective investment schemes, with up to 30% directly held in securities such as stocks and bonds.
