The Morgan Stanley Commodity RADAR Fund is designed to track a diversified commodity strategy by investing in swap contracts that replicate the performance of the Morgan Stanley HDX RADAR MS Dynamic Roll TR Index. To complement this, the fund holds U.S. government Treasury bills, which provide stable money market returns. This combination allows the fund to effectively mirror the broad range of commodities included in its benchmark index while maintaining a portion of its assets in secure short-term government securities.
