General Objective
The fund aims to generate current income, capital gains, and currency gains by investing in a diversified portfolio primarily consisting of local currency bonds from the Asian region. The fund must invest at least 51% in fixed-income securities from issuers based in the Asia-Pacific region.
Fund Exposure
The fund invests in fixed-income securities, convertible bonds, and options bonds, as well as other derivatives issued by domestic and foreign issuers. It may also hold other securities, derivatives, bank deposits, money market instruments, and a limited amount of investment units and other investment instruments. The fund can invest more than 35% in bonds issued by Germany, Australia, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United States.
