General Objective
The Euro Bond Fund is an actively managed portfolio of primarily euro-denominated, investment grade bonds with an average duration that normally varies within +/-2 years of the benchmark. The fund aims to provide investors with a diversified core bond allocation within a predominantly European opportunity set.
Fund Exposure
The fund invests at least two thirds of its assets in a diversified portfolio of euro-denominated fixed-income securities, with the possibility of allocating up to 10% to high yield Fixed Income Instruments. This exposure allows the fund to benefit from the manager's views on interest rates, currencies, credit, and country trends within the European market.
Risks
Investors should be aware of several risks associated with the Euro Bond Fund, including credit and default risk, currency risk, derivatives and counterparty risk, emerging markets risk, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, and mortgage-related and other asset-backed securities risks. These risks could lead to potential losses in the value of the fund's investments.
