General Objective
The fund aims to provide capital growth and income in excess of the iBoxx Asian Local Currency Bond Index after fees have been deducted over a three to five year period by investing in Asian bonds denominated in local currencies.
Fund Exposure
The fund invests at least two-thirds of its assets in bonds with an investment grade or sub-investment grade credit rating denominated in local currencies issued by governments, government agencies, and companies in Asia. It may also invest up to one-third of its assets in other securities, countries, regions, industries, or currencies, and use derivatives, leverage, and take short positions to achieve investment gains.

The fund is exposed to risks such as sustainability risk, credit risk, emerging markets & frontier risk, high yield bond risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, onshore renminbi currency risk, operational risk, and performance risk.
