It actively invests at least two-thirds of its assets in a mix of government, government agency, supranational, and corporate bonds issued by emerging market entities. The fund also includes currencies and money market instruments from these regions and may hold up to 40% of its assets in cash and money markets within developed countries. Additionally, more than half of the bond investments can be in below investment grade ratings, and the fund has the flexibility to invest in mainland China's regulated bond markets.
