UBAM Diversified Income Opportunities aims to grow capital and generate income by actively investing in a diverse range of bonds and related securities. The fund allocates up to 100% of its assets to high yield and investment-grade bonds, with the possibility to leverage these positions using derivatives. It includes up to 50% investment in bonds from emerging and frontier markets, including China through Bond Connect. Additionally, the portfolio comprises convertible bonds (25%), contingent convertible bonds (CoCos) at 20%, asset-backed securities (ABS) also at 20%, equities and equity derivatives making up 10%, and distressed securities accounting for 5%. At least half of the bond investments meet sustainable criteria, focusing on issuers with strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings and a preference for green, social, and sustainability bonds.
