General Objective
The fund aims to preserve the purchasing power of investors' investments against inflation over a 3- to 5-year horizon by investing primarily in USD-denominated inflation-linked bonds of high quality, globally diversified across regions, ratings, and maturities.
Fund Exposure
The fund is exposed to a portfolio primarily consisting of United States, United Kingdom, Japan, New Zealand, Italy, France, and other government bonds, with opportunistic positions in government, agency, corporate, collateralized, high yield, emerging markets, and other than USD-denominated bonds. The portfolio is structured to control downside risk through comprehensive research and risk management.
Risks
Investors should be aware that changes in interest rates and inflation can impact the value of the portfolio. Coupon payments are linked to changes in inflation, increasing with rising inflation and decreasing in a deflationary environment. While inflation-linked bonds with a deflation floor protect the capital invested, those without a deflation floor may result in the capital falling below the par value. Additionally, inflation-linked bonds issued by companies carry a higher default risk compared to government bonds, requiring investors to have corresponding risk tolerance and capacity.
