Welzia Capital Sub-Debt FI primarily invests in subordinated debt from financial and insurance companies, which includes bonds that can be converted into stocks or written down if the issuer faces financial issues. Most of the fund’s investments, typically over half, are in these types of bonds, which are usually issued without a set end date and can be redeemed early by the issuer. Additionally, up to 10% of the fund may be placed in liquid securitized products and up to 15% in various stocks, while the remaining investments are in other fixed income assets and deposits. This mix aims to balance potential returns with the specific risks associated with subordinated and convertible debt.
