Revenue Growth

KK Nikon reported revenue of ¥163.8 billion for the 1st quarter of the year ending March 31, 2025, marking an increase of ¥5.7 billion year-over-year. This growth was driven by higher sales volumes in the Imaging Products Business and the Precision Equipment Business, as well as strong sales of large-format metal 3D printers in the Digital Manufacturing Business.

Operating Profit

KK Nikon's profit attributable to owners of the parent for the 1st quarter of the year ending March 31, 2025, was ¥2.7 billion, an increase of ¥0.2 billion year-over-year. This improvement was supported by the overall revenue growth and favorable currency exchange rates.

Segment Performance

In the 1st quarter of the year ending March 31, 2025, KK Nikon's Imaging Products Business saw revenue grow to ¥83.7 billion, up by ¥9.3 billion year-over-year, with operating profit increasing to ¥17.8 billion. Conversely, the Precision Equipment Business experienced a revenue decline to ¥33.1 billion, down by ¥4.2 billion, though its operating loss narrowed to ¥2.1 billion.

Free Cash Flow

KK Nikon reported a positive operating cash flow of ¥17.5 billion for the 1st quarter of the year ending March 31, 2025, marking the third consecutive quarter of positive operating cash flow. However, free cash flow was negative due to the acquisition of RED and other factors.
