In contrast, fuel volumes increased by 0.1% in Europe and other regions and by 0.5% in Canada. The road transportation fuel gross margin in the United States was 46.10¢ per gallon, a decrease of 3.46¢ per gallon.

Strategic Acquisitions

During the second quarter of fiscal 2025, Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. entered into a binding agreement to acquire 270 company-owned and operated convenience retail and fuel sites in the United States. Additionally, subsequent to the quarter's end, the company agreed to acquire 20 more sites, further expanding its footprint in the U.S. market.
