Catena AB reported strong financial performance in the second quarter of 2025, showcasing significant growth in rental income, net operating surplus, and profitability. The company also made strategic acquisitions and strengthened its management team, positioning itself well for continued expansion and market leadership.

Rental Income Growth

Rental income increased by 26 percent, reaching SEK 1,288 million compared to SEK 1,020 million in the same period last year. This growth reflects Catena AB's effective property management and robust demand for its logistics facilities.

Enhanced Net Operating Surplus

The net operating surplus saw a substantial rise of 31 percent, totaling SEK 1,085 million up from SEK 827 million previously. This improvement underscores the company’s efficient operational strategies and effective cost management.

Increased Profit and Earnings per Share

Profit for the period surged to SEK 671 million from SEK 365 million, with earnings per share rising to SEK 11.11 from SEK 6.89. EPRA net asset value per share and EPRA earnings per share also showed significant increases, reaching SEK 427.62 and SEK 12.52 respectively.

Strategic Acquisitions

Catena AB expanded its property portfolio by acquiring a logistics facility in Jönköping for SEK 1,288 million and another facility in Køge for DKK 285 million. These acquisitions enhance Catena’s presence in key strategic locations, supporting its long-term growth objectives.

Strengthened Management Team

The company appointed Magnus Thagg as its new Chief Treasury Officer, joining Adam Ekdahl as Business Development Manager. These additions to the management team are expected to bolster Catena AB’s expertise in financial and business development.
