Getlink SE reported its 2025 half-year financial results, showing a mixed performance across its segments. The Group’s overall revenue decreased by 9% to €739 million, with EBITDA falling by 14% to €366 million and net profit down 35% to €113 million. While the Eurotunnel segment posted modest growth with a 4% increase in revenue to €564 million and a slight EBITDA rise, Eleclink experienced a significant decline in both revenue and EBITDA. Despite these challenges, Getlink SE reiterated its EBITDA guidance for 2025, aiming for a range between €780 million and €830 million.

Overall Group Performance

In H1 2025, Getlink SE’s Group revenue stood at €739 million, while EBITDA was €366 million and net profit reached €113 million. The reduction in performance was primarily impacted by a lower contribution from Eleclink, despite a strong cash position of €1,355 million as of 30 June 2025.

Strong Eurotunnel Results

The Eurotunnel segment demonstrated resilience in a challenging economic environment, with revenue growing by 4% to €564 million driven by improvements in Railway Network and Shuttle activities, particularly in freight. EBITDA in this segment increased by 2% to €298 million.

Eleclink Challenges

Eleclink faced significant difficulties in H1 2025, with revenue falling to €92 million from €185 million and EBITDA dropping to €52 million, partly due to the expected normalisation of the electricity markets and activity suspensions, alongside a provision for profit sharing of €23 million.

EBITDA Guidance and Strategic Focus

Despite the mixed financial results, Getlink SE confirmed its strategy through a reiterated EBITDA guidance of €780 million to €830 million for 2025. The CEO, Yann Leriche, highlighted the operational excellence, quality of service, and AI integration in core activities as key factors supporting this outlook, along with positive developments in the high-speed rail segment.
