Total sales increased by 6.1% for the 13 weeks ending September 27, 2025, with company-managed shop like-for-like sales rising by 1.5%. Sales Growth

In Q3 2025, Greggs achieved a 6.1% increase in total sales, with like-for-like sales in company-managed shops up by 1.5% compared to the same period in 2024. Year-to-date sales have grown by 6.7%, and like-for-like sales are up by 2.2%, driven by improved trading conditions in August and September.

Shop Expansion

Greggs has opened 130 new shops year-to-date, while closing 73, including 39 relocations, resulting in 57 net new shops. The company expects approximately 120 net shop openings for 2025, with a strong pipeline extending into 2026, supported by strategic relocations and new supermarket partnerships.

Product Innovation

The company has expanded its Bake at Home range, now available in 930 Iceland and 820 Tesco stores, as well as online. Greggs continues to innovate with new menu items such as Egg Pots, Protein Shakes, and the Pulled Pork Sandwich, catering to changing consumer preferences for high-protein and flexitarian options.

Operational Developments

Investment in supply chain capacity is progressing, with automation testing at the new Derby facility on track for a 2026 opening. The new chilled and ambient National Distribution Centre in Kettering is nearing completion, expected to operationalize in 2027, supporting Greggs’ growth and distribution capabilities.
