In the second quarter of 2025, NCAB Group AB reported a slight decrease in net sales but saw a significant increase in order intake, particularly in USD. Despite challenges from exchange rate fluctuations and increased costs, the company maintained a solid operating profit and continued its strategic acquisitions to strengthen its market position.

Net Sales

Net sales for Q2 2025 decreased marginally to SEK 934.0 million compared to SEK 935.1 million in the previous quarter. In USD terms, net sales increased by 10%. For comparable units, net sales declined by 7% in SEK but rose by 3% in USD.

Order Intake

Order intake rose by 5% to SEK 985.0 million, with a 16% increase in USD. For comparable units, order intake decreased by 2% in SEK but grew by 8% in USD. The book-to-bill ratio stood at 1.05, indicating a healthy demand outlook.

EBITA

EBITA for the quarter fell to SEK 93.9 million from SEK 120.4 million, resulting in an EBITA margin of 10.0%, down from 12.9%. Exchange rate fluctuations negatively impacted EBITA by SEK 17 million and reduced the EBITA margin by approximately 0.8 percentage points.

Operating Profit and Profit After Tax

Operating profit decreased to SEK 78.3 million from SEK 105.5 million. Profit after tax was SEK 40.5 million, down from SEK 73.5 million in the same period last year. Earnings per share before and after dilution were SEK 0.22, compared to SEK 0.39 previously.

Cash Flow

Cash flow from operating activities amounted to SEK 93.6 million, slightly lower than the SEK 101.2 million reported in the previous quarter.

Significant Events

During the quarter, NCAB Group AB acquired 100% of B&B Leiterplattenservice GmbH in Germany and decided to withdraw its previously announced dividend proposal. Additionally, the company refinanced its existing loans into a new five-year facility with improved terms, including an option to extend for future acquisitions up to SEK 750 million.
