Fuel expenses averaged $2.36 per gallon, aligning with expectations. Total operating expenses reached $1 billion, or $774 million excluding fuel (a non-GAAP measure).

Fleet Developments

The company took delivery of three A321neo aircraft during the second quarter of 2025, bringing Frontier's fleet to 84 percent comprised of the fuel-efficient A320neo family, the highest percentage among major U.S. carriers. Frontier also executed an agreement with Pratt & Whitney to select the PW1100 GTF engine for the final 91 Airbus A321neo aircraft in its firm orderbook.

Fuel Efficiency

Frontier achieved 106 available seat miles (ASMs) per gallon in the second quarter, reaffirming its position as "America's Greenest Airline" based on fuel efficiency compared to other major U.S. carriers.

Loyalty Program Enhancements

Frontier launched the previously announced free unlimited companion travel benefit for Frontier Elite Platinum and Diamond status members. These enhancements, along with other significant loyalty improvements, supported a 19 percent increase in cardholder spending compared to the second quarter of 2024.

Route Expansion

The company launched 35 new routes and expanded its service across the Eastern and Midwestern United States, including new nonstop connections between Baltimore-Chicago O'Hare and Myrtle Beach-Trenton, as well as nine new routes from Atlanta.
