The iShares $ Treasury Bond 0-1yr ETF holds short-term U.S. government debt—Treasury securities with remaining maturities of at least one month and under one year—made up mainly of large-issue, fixed-rate Treasuries that carry U.S. government credit quality. To track its benchmark it typically holds a representative selection of those short-dated Treasuries rather than every bond in the index, may use derivatives to replicate returns when useful, and can engage in short-term, collateralized securities lending.
