General Objective
The Sub-Fund aims to achieve long-term capital growth by investing at least 67% of assets in equities and equity-linked instruments of companies headquartered or doing substantial business in emerging countries in Africa, America, Asia, and Europe.
Fund Exposure
The Sub-Fund is mainly exposed to emerging markets equities, with investments in Chinese equities through authorized markets in Hong Kong or Stock Connect. It seeks to outperform the MSCI Emerging Markets Free Index by actively managing the portfolio through geographical and sector allocation, as well as equity selection based on growth potential and valuation.
Risks
The Sub-Fund carries market risk associated with investments in emerging markets equities. Additionally, important risks include credit risk, liquidity risk, counterparty risk, operational risk, and risks specific to investing in emerging markets such as higher political, legal, economic, and liquidity risks. Historical data may not be indicative of future performance, and the lowest risk category does not imply risk-free investing.
