Revenue and Income Growth

Live Nation reported Q2 2025 revenue of $7 billion, up 16% compared to the same period last year. Operating income increased by 4% to $487 million, while adjusted operating income rose by 11% to $798 million. Concerts delivered a record adjusted operating income of $359 million, marking a 33% increase.

Concert Ticket Sales Surge

Over 130 million tickets were sold for Live Nation concerts in Q2 2025, a 6% increase year-over-year. Ticket sales were strong across all price points, with over 40% of global stadium shows selling out 95% of tickets within the first week. Onsite spending also grew significantly, particularly in large amphitheaters.

Record Global Attendance

Global fan attendance reached 44 million in Q2 2025, a 14% increase from the previous year. Stadium attendance tripled, and international arena fan counts rose by 20%. Markets in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America saw over 30% growth in fan counts.

Ticketmaster Performance

Ticketmaster achieved a record gross transaction value (GTV) of $9 billion in Q2 2025, a 7% increase year-over-year. Fee-bearing tickets sold surpassed 83 million, with international ticket volume growing by double digits. Deferred revenue for Ticketmaster reached $317 million, up 22%.

Venue Expansion

Live Nation expanded its global venue portfolio by opening four new amphitheaters in the U.S. and one stadium in Canada in Q2 2025. The company plans to open ten additional large venues next year, adding capacity for six million fans. Venue capital investments continue to yield over 20% returns.

Strong Financial Position

Live Nation maintained a robust balance sheet with year-to-date net cash from operating activities of $1.5 billion and free cash flow of $654 million. Capital expenditures for 2025 are projected between $900 million and $1 billion, primarily focused on venue expansion and enhancements.
