iShares MSCI USA Screened UCITS ETF EUR Hedged (Acc)

The iShares MSCI USA Screened ETF aims to deliver a return that reflects the MSCI USA Screened Index, so in simple terms it seeks to give investors broad exposure to U.S. equities while excluding companies involved in activities such as controversial and nuclear weapons, tobacco, civilian firearms, thermal coal power generation, fossil fuel extraction, palm oil production or distribution, arctic oil and gas extraction, and severe UN Global Compact controversies. As an equity fund, its portfolio is expected to hold shares of U.S. companies that are constituents of the screened benchmark, rather than bonds, cash-like instruments or commodities. The fund follows a passive, index-tracking approach: instead of making active stock-picking decisions, it aims to replicate the performance of the benchmark by holding the index’s screened constituents, or a representative selection of them, and by keeping the portfolio aligned with the index as it changes over time.
