Deutsche Managed Euro Fund is an actively managed short‑term money market fund that aims to preserve capital, stay liquid and generate current income by investing only in euro‑denominated short‑term debt and debt‑related instruments. Its portfolio holds fixed‑ and floating‑rate securities and other money market paper issued by sovereigns, agencies, supranational bodies, corporations and financial institutions, all rated in one of the two highest short‑term categories (or deemed equivalent by the manager); individual holdings mature within 397 days and the portfolio’s weighted average maturity is kept at 60 days or less. The fund offers same‑day liquidity, operates as a short‑term LVNAV money market fund under EU rules, follows the IMMFA code, has an external credit rating paid for by the fund, and takes environmental and social factors into account when selecting investments.
