Deutsche Managed Euro Fund is an actively managed money-market vehicle that aims to preserve capital, stay liquid and produce current income by investing in a diversified portfolio of short-term fixed- and floating-rate debt and other money-market instruments. The fund holds high-quality short-term paper (issued by governments, agencies, supranational bodies, corporations and banks) that must meet the manager’s top-tier credit standards or equivalent external short-term ratings; individual securities have maturities of 397 days or less and the portfolio’s weighted average maturity is limited to 60 days. It provides same‑day liquidity and is run to meet short-term LVNAV money-market regulatory standards and industry codes, and it has an independent credit rating.
